You’ll want to try these yummy smoothies right now! Starting the morning with a smoothie helps me stay on track with my diet goals without feeling hungry.
As much as I’d love to start the day with a bagel or a pastry, I know that’s not a healthy choice for me. I don’t always have time to make eggs and bacon for breakfast and on those days, I’m tempted to skip breakfast entirely or grab whatever I can find from the refrigerator.
Delicious Breakfast Smoothies
Of course, you can also try these delicious smoothies for a snack or even a dessert. Add a little bit of protein powder to your smoothie to turn it into the perfect post-workout treat.
If you want to share these smoothies with the kids, you can skip the protein powder. It’s not really something that children need to have.
They will taste just as good without it. And, if you are looking for something healthy to add to their drink, you can always add a tablespoon of Greek yogurt.

My favorite delicious breakfast smoothies
There are lots of different ways you can make a smoothie recipe. So, feel free to change up the ingredients to suit what you have on hand.
And, you can always alternate the milk, sweeteners, and add-ins depending on what you like to eat.

What is the best milk for smoothies?
Most of these delicious breakfast smoothies can be altered depending on your dietary preferences. I generally substitute coconut milk or unsweetened almond milk for the dairy milk in my smoothies and shakes to keep them Paleo.
My daughter is lactose intolerant but isn’t fond of coconut milk in her smoothies so for her smoothies, I use almond milk or soy milk depending on what we have on hand.
My husband and son aren’t fond of alternate milk types so for their smoothies, I use traditional cow’s milk.
Why is my smoothie not the right consistency?
If you think that your smoothie is too thick, you can add a little bit more water. If it is too thin, add a bit more banana.
What to put in a smoothie to make it taste better
Sweetener type and the amount of sweetener can be changed depending on what you like to use. I love stevia and generally use it exclusively.
Other people prefer honey or maple syrup instead. Most of these delicious breakfast smoothies included don’t need sweeteners at all because the fruit itself is sweet enough.

Can I store leftovers?
These delicious breakfast smoothies are really best right after you blend them. But, if you want to finish it later in the day, just put it in the refrigerator.
It will stay good for 24 hours in the refrigerator. Just give it a quick stir before you drink it next time.
