Black Cherry Smoothie with Stevia and Greek Yogurt

This Black Cherry Smoothie is absolutely the perfect breakfast on a busy morning! I love starting my mornings with a smoothie. They are so easy to make. You just throw everything in the blender and WHIZZ a few minutes later breakfast is ready. The type of fruit I add to my smoothie really depends on what’s fresh or on sale. This time, cherries were on sale at the grocery store, and I had a few bags of frozen strawberries in the freezer from earlier in the year. I just tossed it all into the blender with some plain some fresh mango, Greek yogurt and a packet of Organic Stevia in the Raw®. Then I topped it off with a bit of fresh peppermint from our herb garden.  You would not believe how delicious it was!

Black Cherry Smoothie with Stevia and Greek Yogurt

I just love the colors in this smoothie. If that doesn’t make you happy just looking at it, I don’t know what will. Organic Stevia in the Raw is non-GMO and naturally gluten free. It has only three calories and is equal to the sweetening of two teaspoons of sugar.

Did you know that stevia grows naturally in the Americas and is now cultivated throughout the world?  Organic Stevia in the Raw comes from the In the Raw sweetener family business that’s rooted in Brooklyn.

I’ve been using stevia in my coffee for years, and I love the way it adds just a bit of sweetness to my smoothie recipes.  I had a hard time keeping the kids away from this one. It tastes so good!

  1. That sounds delicious, I like all of the ingredients you used. Stevia is very popular nowadays as well, as a sugar substitute.
