Black Cherry Smoothie Recipe
They are so easy to make. You just throw everything in the blender and WHIZZ a few minutes later breakfast is ready. The type of fruit I add to my smoothie really depends on what’s fresh or on sale.
This time, cherries were on sale at the grocery store, and I had a few bags of frozen strawberries in the freezer from earlier in the year. I just tossed it all into the blender with some plain some fresh mango, Greek yogurt, and a packet of Organic Stevia in the Raw®.
Then I topped it off with a bit of fresh peppermint from our herb garden. You would not believe how delicious it was! So, I wanted to share this Black Cherry Smoothie recipe with you so you could try it.
Can you put cherries in a blender?
Yes, just like any other fruit, you can put cherries in a blender. You will need to take out the pit first. I find that a cherry pitter is very helpful and saves a lot of time.
How do you make a sweet smoothie?
I just love the colors in this smoothie. If that doesn’t make you happy just looking at it, I don’t know what will. Organic Stevia in the Raw is non-GMO and naturally gluten-free. It has only three calories and is equal to the sweetening of two teaspoons of sugar.
Did you know that stevia grows naturally in the Americas and is now cultivated throughout the world? Organic Stevia in the Raw comes from the In the Raw sweetener family business that’s rooted in Brooklyn.
I’ve been using stevia in my coffee for years, and I love the way it adds just a bit of sweetness to my smoothie recipes. I had a hard time keeping the kids away from this one. It tastes so good!
What is a good replacement for yogurt in a smoothie?
A smoothie will need to have something creamy in it and yogurt is an easy option. But, if you want a vegan option, you can try a plant-based yogurt like soy or coconut. If you want to skip the yogurt entirely, you can substitute mashed avocado. Or, you can use frozen bananas. These will both change the taste slightly. But, it will still be delicious.
Chocolate cherry smoothie recipe
I know, chocolate and cherries just go so well together. So, if you want a chocolate cherry smoothie recipes, you can add some cocoa powder to your smoothie. How much you want to add really depends on how chocolatey you want your smoothie to taste. Or, why not try adding a chocolate yogurt to your black cherry smoothie recipe.

That sounds delicious, I like all of the ingredients you used. Stevia is very popular nowadays as well, as a sugar substitute.
