I can’t be the only person that needs to figure out how to turn off negative thoughts. Sometimes, it’s self-doubt. Sometimes, it’s anxiety. Other times, it’s just some little thing that has annoyed me that day. Either way, having negative thoughts constantly repeating in my head contributes to my stress level and makes it hard to concentrate.

Turn off Negative Thoughts
Sometimes, I think my mind is a bit like a hamster wheel. A thought gets in there and then it just goes around and around on repeat until I manage to stop it. Not only does that interfere with work, it can impact my sleep and my stress levels. I’ve been working on a variety of ways to manage stress from yoga to coloring and doodling.
I recently learned about the ELF emmit which is a wearable system that synchronizes your mind and body, powered by your Smartphone. The ELF emmit application offers five programs that help you achieve sleep, meditation, anti-stress, increased concentration and super learning.
The ELF emmit is a wearable device that is sort of similar in shape to bone induction headphones. It goes around the back of your head and rests above your ears. You don’t hear anything or feel anything while you’re wearing it. It uses electromagnetic pulses to help your mind adjust to the rhythm of the ELF emmit depending on why you’re using it.
You sync the unit with the iOs or Android phone app. As long as the timer is counting down, the unit is working. It’s designed not to make noise so that you can do other things with it like listen to music or listen to a meditation app or sleep depending on what your needs are. It even works when your smartphone goes to sleep.
I’m not a scientific type person but, briefly, our brains work at different frequencies for different things: sleep, concentration, etc. The ELF emmit helps align your brain’s frequency to what you’re trying to do. For example, in sleep and deep relaxation, our brains function from 1 to 2 Hz (beats) per second, while at high concentration they spike up to 30 Hz per second.
Manage Stress
ELF emmit’s anti-stress mode induces theta and alpha brainwaves that calm you down and help you release stress from your shoulders helping you to achieve emotional, physical and mental well-being.

My Thoughts
Every person will need a different amount of time to see results when using the ELF emmit. Some people may see an immediate result. Others may need 3 to 10 days or up to two weeks.
The ELF emmit literally took me less than a minute to set up. You just put it on sort of like you are wearing your glasses backward. Then, you plug it into your smartphone and download the app. I wasn’t sure what to expect since I’ve never used something like this before.
But, I am thrilled to report that it really does work. I’ve been using it once a day when I’m feeling stressed, and I have noticed that it’s easier for me to “come down” and return to normal. It’s easy to wear, very comfortable, and you honestly forget you’re wearing it.
If you’re wondering how to turn off negative thoughts (or any of the other issues that I’ve listed above), I encourage you to try the ELF emmit. It’s done wonders for me.
