Use Technology for a Healthier Life
There are a lot of different ways to use technology for a healthier life. I love my activity tracker because it keeps track of how much I’m moving. My digital scale keeps track of my body mass index as well as my weight. There is an app on my smartphone that helps me keep track of how much water I’m drinking. Lately, I’ve been using the Nextbook Flexx 11A to help with my health goals too. Here are just a few ways I’m using this new technology.
I love watching exercise and yoga videos. There are so many free videos out there that I don’t need to sign up for a class or head to the gym. Of course, I want to take them with me wherever I go and my smartphone is just too small. With an 11.6” screen, 16:9 aspect ratio, and 1366 x 768 resolutions (IPS), the Flexx 11A
delivers great image quality for travelers to read, work, watch, stream, or play.
I’m always looking for ways to feed my family a healthy meal more quickly. Lately, I’ve been in a recipe slump and haven’t been motivated at all. To combat this problem, I’ve been searching for healthy recipes online. Unlike my computer, I can bring the Nextbook Flexx 11A into the kitchen to make referring to the recipe easier while I cook.
I love all of the Windows apps on my computer, and I hate leaving them at home when I travel. I have a blog trip coming up at the end of next month. And, I’ve been worrying about how I would bring everything along easily that I rely on to stay healthy. Traveling often requires packing light. Thanks to its Windows 10 operating system, the Flexx 11A includes USB 2.0, microUSB 2.0, and microHDMI ports as well as a headphone jack. Multiple ports that mean a traveler can easily access a printer, flash drive, speakers, or other necessities. Business travelers will enjoy the free Microsoft Office Suite subscription that comes with it. That plus its pogo keyboard turn the unit into a very usable laptop-like device.
Other travel-friendly features found on the Flexx 11A tablet include: 11.6”, 16:9, 1366×768 high-resolution (IPS) touchscreen; 64GB onboard storage with a Micro-SD card slot for expansion to 128GB; Wi-Fi and Bluetooth 4.0; front and back cameras; music player; popular media formats; and up to eight hours battery run time.

I’ve used Nextbooks in the past and one thing they have always had in common is how easy they are to use. They are literally up and running in just a few minutes. Cortana walks you through the install process and you sign in with your Microsoft account. It automatically imported my favorites from my computer along with my background just by signing in. I love being able to ask Cortana for help and the touch screen ability makes accessing my favorite apps so much simpler. This is an ideal choice for busy families everywhere.
One of my readers will win their very own Nextbook Flexx 11A.
