A 16-ounce soft drink has about 280 calories. A tall latte has 240 calories. If you’re not careful, you can easily drink away half your allowed calories for the day.
There are healthy drinks worth pampering yourself with and now that I have a bit more me time, I can enjoy them when I unwind at the end of the day. Morning time is my time for coffee but by mid afternoon, I’m ready for something else. What I choose really depends on my mood, the weather and how I feel.

If I’m coming down with a cold or I’ve splurged a bit too many times, I often choose something to detox with that helps me get rid of toxins.
