Turmeric Candy Recipe
I know that turmeric is supposed to be good for you if you’re concerned with inflammation. But, to be honest, I really don’t like the taste.
I know that I can take supplements but this easy turmeric gummies recipe is so much better than adding another supplement to my daily routine. Best of all, it tastes like pineapple!
What are turmeric gummies good for?
Turmeric contains curcumin which has been scientifically proven to help with heart health and inflammation. It’s also high in antioxidants which makes it a good addition to your daily routine.
There are lots of health benefits of turmeric. So, I’ve been experimenting with them to see if they help with my arthritis.
Turmeric candy benefits
These gummies are an easy way to add turmeric to your daily routine. I really don’t like swallowing pills especially if they are the larger size. Gummies are so much easier to take for me.
These turmeric ginger gummies are one of my favorite recipes using turmeric. The ginger and the pineapple both help to disguise the taste of the turmeric.
This is an easy recipe to boost immunity.
Can I make turmeric gummy bears?
Sure. You can use a silicone mold to make these gummies in any shape that you want to. These are square because that’s what I had on hand. But, you can use any type of mold for your homemade turmeric gummies.
How do I store these?
Once you make them and remove them from the mold, you can store them in a container with a tightly fitting lid. They will stay good in the refrigerator for 7 to 10 days that way.
Tools / equipment needed
- Juicer if you start with fresh pineapple
- Silicone mold
- Whisk and a bowl
So, you can start this turmeric candy recipe by juicing the fresh pineapple and fresh ginger. If that seems like too much work for you, can use pineapple juice and powdered ginger.
Fruit juice gummies are a lot easier to make and they work just as well if you don’t have a juicer.
How to make turmeric candy
- Step 1: Juice the pineapple and ginger in a juicer.
- Step 2: Add the pineapple and ginger juice to a small saucepan and heat on low to medium heat for 2 minutes. Add in the turmeric powder, black pepper, coconut oil, and honey. Heat for 5 minutes, or until the coconut oil is melted.
- Step 3: Remove the pan from the stove. Whisk in the gelatin powder until combined.
- Step 4: Pour into a silicone mold or a small baking dish. Refrigerate for 2-3 hours, or until firm.
- Step 5: Push out or slice gummies into squares and remove with a blunt knife. Store for 7-10 days in an airtight container.
Can I double the recipe?
Yes, you can double the recipe if you want to. Keep in mind, you should eat one per day and that these stay good for 7 to 10 days.
So, you don’t want to make more than you will realistically use up in that time. They won’t freeze well.
Can I use a different type of juice?
Pineapple juice has a lot of health benefits which is one of the reasons I chose it. But, if you don’t have pineapple, you can experiment with another type of juice.
I would try something like orange or mango before I used something clear like apple juice. But, you can experiment with this turmeric candy recipe until you find one you like.

If I need to use canned juice instead of juicing fresh pineapple, how much should I use?
I have not tried it that way. But, I would say that you should use about 1/2 to 3/4 cup of juice. If you try it let me know & I will update the recipe. Thanks!
