The Complete Idiot’s Guide to Quick Total Body Workouts

Quick Total Body Workouts

Quick Total Body Workouts

Like most women, there are some areas of my body that I am less than happy with.  I’m not getting into specifics but I’m sure you know where I’m coming from.  After a woman has had a baby or two, things just aren’t the same any more. I incorporate exercise into my lifestyle regularly in a variety of different ways.  I enjoy riding my bike – both inside and out.  I have a bunch of exercise DVD’s and each seems to target a different area of your body. When I’m pressed for time, I would like to be able to choose the exercises that target one certain area of the body. At least I know I’m working toward my goals even when it’s a hectic day.

The Complete Idiot’s Guide to Quick Total Body Workouts is a book that will help you find enough time in your day to fit in a decent workout. Whether you are trying to sculpt your arms, flatten your stomach or lift your butt, this is a resource you need.  This guide includes tons of easy to follow illustrated exercises that will work your abs, buns, thighs, arms, or chest – even on limited time.  You do not need to head to the gym to do these exercises.  You can do them right at home or even on your lunch break at the office.

You will find easy ideas for finding down time in your schedule to squeeze in exercise.  There are shaping and sculpting exercises that will help you work your biceps, triceps, back, shoulders, and chest. If you’re working on flattening your abs, you will want to focus on the firming and flattening exercises.  Lifting and toning exercises will help you firm up your buns and thighs. This guide is more than just different exercises. You will also find tips that will help you find and keep the motivation you need to consistently exercise and to push yourself through that plateau.  There is also some great advice on how to set up a menu plan that will help give you energy and burn fat. There’s more to getting in shape than exercise and I’m glad this book addresses that.

I plan on giving this book to my son. He’s been very interested in working out and enjoys lifting weights and wrestling. I think that an understanding of how different exercises work different parts of his body will definitely help him. The book is very easy to understand and to follow and there are both pictures and written explanations for each exercise. The Complete Idiot’s Guide to Quick Total Body Workouts is definitely a great start to getting in shape.
