Celebrity Holiday Recipes: Cheryl Ladd's Pumpkin Pie Recipe

Cheryl Ladd’s Pumpkin Pie Recipe

So, if you enjoy trying celebrity recipes, this is an easy one to start with. Cheryl Ladd describes this pumpkin pie recipe as comforting, creamy, and all spiced up. She uses canned pumpkin in her version of this pumpkin pie but you could certainly start out with freshly cooked pumpkin if you prefer. I do love the taste that homemade pumpkin gives to a pumpkin pie. Please do not use pumpkin pie filling as the recipe won’t turn out properly.

You can easily make the decoration on top with slivered almonds and dried cranberries. Just practice a bit on a piece of waxed paper before you try it on the finished pie. If you’re going to make celebrity holiday recipes, why not make them fancy?

Can I use premade crust?

You certainly can! While Cheryl Ladd uses a homemade pie crust for this celebrity recipe, you don’t need to. I don’t like making pie crust. So, I usually start with a frozen pie crust when I make pies.

It’s important that we make any of our recipes, including celebrity holiday recipes, something that works for us and our family. I’d rather spend the time visiting than cooking. So, I take shortcuts when I can.
