Pear and Cherry Galette Recipe
You can find my pear and cherry galette recipe over at Makobi Scribe where I did a guest recipe post for her. A galette is a sort of free form pastry that is similar to a pie but without the pan or the crimping involved. It is quick and easy to prepare with all the delicious fruit taste of a traditional fruit pie. I used a prepared pie crust to cut preparation time but if you enjoy making your own pie crust, you could certainly do that as well. Take a look at my recipe post for the instructions to make this dessert. Make sure you leave a comment too and if you try it, make sure you let me know how it comes out.
