Naked Sparkling Energy Review: An Easy Pick-Me-Up for Busy Days

Last Updated on October 8, 2026 by Ellen Christian

Some days seem to require a little more energy than others. Between work, errands, household chores, and everything else that needs to get done, I sometimes want an afternoon pick-me-up without reaching for another cup of coffee.

I recently had the opportunity to try Naked Nutrition Sparkling Energy Drinks in Strawberry Lemonade and Orange. I was especially curious about the flavors because I prefer drinks that taste natural rather than overly sweet.

After chilling both flavors and trying them side by side, here’s what I thought.

What Is Naked Sparkling Energy?

Naked Sparkling Energy is a canned sparkling energy drink from Naked Nutrition. The drinks are designed to provide an energy boost in a convenient ready-to-drink format.

One thing that immediately caught my attention was the short ingredient list. Each can contains only six ingredients, along with zero grams of sugar. Each 12-ounce can also contains 200 mg of caffeine, so this is definitely an energy drink rather than simply flavored sparkling water.

The two flavors I tried were Strawberry Lemonade and Orange.

Naked Sparkling Energy Strawberry Lemonade Review

I tried the Strawberry Lemonade first. It has light carbonation rather than the very strong fizz you sometimes find in canned energy drinks.

The flavor was immediately recognizable as strawberry lemonade. It had a natural sweetness that I really enjoyed and wasn’t overwhelmingly sweet.

Another thing I noticed was the lack of an unpleasant aftertaste. That’s important to me with a zero-sugar drink because I don’t want the sweetener flavor lingering after I’ve finished it.

Overall, I thought the Strawberry Lemonade was refreshing and genuinely really good.

Naked Sparkling Energy Orange Review

Next, I tried the Orange, and this one really surprised me with how natural the orange flavor tasted.

It was lightly carbonated, just like the Strawberry Lemonade, but the thing that stood out most was the sweetness. Instead of tasting like an overly sweet orange soda or orange candy, the sweetness reminded me much more of eating an actual orange.

If you like a natural citrus flavor, this is a really enjoyable option.

Strawberry Lemonade vs. Orange: Which Did I Prefer?

I enjoyed both, and they are different enough that I would happily drink either one depending on what I was in the mood for.

Strawberry Lemonade has that refreshing combination of berry and citrus with a natural sweetness and no noticeable aftertaste. Orange has a straightforward citrus flavor that reminded me of the natural sweetness of fresh orange.

I don’t think you need to be a fan of heavily carbonated beverages to enjoy these, either. The carbonation was noticeable, but it didn’t overpower the flavor.

When Would I Drink Naked Sparkling Energy?

For me, these make the most sense for busy days when I want something cold and refreshing along with an energy boost.

I could see reaching for one during a busy afternoon, before tackling errands or household projects, or on a day when my schedule is especially full. Since they’re already canned, there’s nothing to mix or prepare.

Just remember that each can contains 200 mg of caffeine. I would treat it accordingly and pay attention to how much caffeine you’re getting from coffee, tea, energy drinks, and other sources throughout the day.

Is Naked Sparkling Energy Good?

Based on the two flavors I tried, I was impressed.

What I liked most was that neither flavor tasted excessively sweet or artificial to me. Strawberry Lemonade was refreshing with no noticeable aftertaste, while Orange had a particularly natural citrus flavor and sweetness.

If you’re looking for a ready-to-drink energy option and prefer fruity flavors, Naked Sparkling Energy is worth checking out.

Between the two, I wouldn’t hesitate to drink either flavor again.
