1 pound organic local ground beef
1 jar organic tomato sauce or your own homemade
1 block of Cabot tomato basil cheddar cheese
1 box of penne pasta

Boil box of pasta per recipe directions & drain. Brown ground beef in cast iron skillet. Pour in jar of tomato sauce. Grate block of cheese.

In 11×17 pan put down a layer of cooked pasta & cover with sauce & ground beef. Sprinkle on half the cheese. Put down rest of pasta & rest of sauce & ground beef. Bake 20 minutes in 350F oven. Sprinkle on the rest of the cheese & bake for 20 more minutes.

  1. Thanks, Debbie! I have made it with a combination of plain cheddar and plain monterey jack so if you cannot find the flavored Cabot, try that.
