My Crockpot is a lifesaver. I cannot tell you how often I turn to it on busy nights. I make my beef stew, my family’s favorite chili, chicken soup, etc. in it. Heck, I’ve even made bread in it with an insert before. I love that I can simply toss everything in, set it, and then forget about it until dinnertime. As a time-saving tip, use a Crockpot liner. It saves a lot of time when it comes to cleaning up afterward.

You can really dress this up as much as you like. If you don’t want meat in yours, it’s totally fine to leave it out. Or, there are meat substitutes that you can toss in if you prefer. You can also add chopped jalapenos, olives, tomatoes and whatever else you like with it.

Make sure that you serve it with a big bowl of guacamole and some sour cream on the side. You can also offer extra salsa, refried beans, and taco meat to those who want it. Or, you can simply serve it with a big pile of tortilla chips as a snack. It really does all depends on what you want.
