Crockpot Cheese Dip
The after-Christmas organizational rush has hit my home. Presents need to be put away. The tree needs to come down. Decorations need to be put away. On days like this, I rely on my Hamilton Beach Slow Cooker for a quick dinner or snack for the family. Of course, this is also a perfect solution for entertaining any time of the year.
My Crockpot is a lifesaver. I cannot tell you how often I turn to it on busy nights. I make my beef stew, my family’s favorite chili, chicken soup, etc. in it. Heck, I’ve even made bread in it with an insert before. I love that I can simply toss everything in, set it, and then forget about it until dinnertime. As a time-saving tip, use a Crockpot liner. It saves a lot of time when it comes to cleaning up afterward.
You can really dress this up as much as you like. If you don’t want meat in yours, it’s totally fine to leave it out. Or, there are meat substitutes that you can toss in if you prefer. You can also add chopped jalapenos, olives, tomatoes, and whatever else you like with it.
What to serve with cheese dip
Make sure that you serve it with a big bowl of guacamole and some sour cream on the side. You can also offer extra salsa, refried beans, and taco meat to those who want it. Or, you can simply serve it with a big pile of tortilla chips as a snack. It really does all depend on what you want.
