Avocado Chimichurri Sauce

I love making my own condiments. They are usually very easy to make and much less expensive than the versions you buy at the grocery store.

This ramp pesto recipe is another easy condiment you should try. There are so many delicious ways you can serve it.

This condiment goes so well with grilled meats that it’s quite popular during the summer. But, you can easily serve it with your favorite grilled chicken or steak recipe that you cook indoors.

And, it’s one of our favorite sauces to pair with roast beef. Here are a few tips on how to roast beef if you’re considering making this.

This sauce is blended so that it’s smooth. But, if you want to, you can easily add a few small chunks of avocado right before you serve it to give it a bit of texture.

You can either spoon it on top of the meat you’re serving it with. Or, you can serve it on the side in a small bowl. It’s a great way to add flavor to almost any recipe.

What is chimichurri sauce made of?

Traditionally, this would be made with parsley along with garlic, salt, pepper, and some type of oil This recipe includes cashews and avocado instead of the oil which gives it a wonderfully smooth texture.

What is chimichurri good with?

Avocado chimichurri sauce tastes delicious with any type of grilled meat, fish, or vegetables. But, you can also serve it with roast beef, eggs, and even pizza. And, it makes a wonderful marinade.

What’s the difference between pesto and chimichurri?

Pest combines basil and olive oil. This recipe traditionally calls for parsley, oil, and most importantly vinegar for a distinctive tang that is not present in pesto.

We’ve combined parsley and cilantro. But, you can use only parsley to keep it more traditional if you like.
