Tropical Ham & Swiss Sliders recipe with King’s Hawaiian
Summer is a super busy time for me. The kids always seem to need to go somewhere or there is yard work to do or we’ve headed out for a day trip to enjoy the beautiful weather. Not everyone in the family has the same schedule for dinner time. Sarah works in the evenings at a grocery store so she’ll eat later on after work. David has track or works out at the gym and often eats after he comes home. Marty and I tend to stick to our 6:30PM dinner time. I like to choose meals that can be easily made or assembled at different times of the day.
I recently made these Tropical Ham & Swiss Sliders using King’s Hawaiian buns and they were a huge hit at dinner time. This is definitely one of my favorite new recipes.
- 2 pkgs King's Hawaiian Original Hawaiian Sweet Rolls (8 rolls)
- 1 can crushed pineapple
- 1 bottle Thousand Island salad dressing
- 1 lb sliced deli ham
- 1/2 lb sliced Swiss Cheese
- Stack the ham and cheese on each roll, cutting to size if necessary.
- Top with drained crushed pineapple and Thousand Island dressing.
These are amazing and a huge hit with the family! The King’s Hawaiian rolls are the perfect size for sliders.
