If you’re looking for ways to reconnect with your spouse, you might be frustrated that your in-person options are limited. Thankfully, there is a wide range of virtual classes you can take with your spouse from the comfort of your home.
Online Classes for Couples
There used to be a variety of different types of classes my husband and I could take in person. Our local art gallery offered basic art classes. And, our local library offered in-person classes on a variety of topics.
But with COVID here, none of these classes are available. And, a lot of the locations my husband and I used to visit for a special night out are closed now.
With Valentine’s Day right around the corner, I have been searching for something special to do and haven’t been finding anything interesting in my area. Thankfully, with the internet widely available, I have found quite a few online classes for couples at Spouazal that sound really interesting.
Mindful meditating
Why not learn to slow down and reconnect with a meditation class. While your local gym or yoga studio may be closed right now, you can learn the basics of meditation with your spouse quite easily in a virtual event.
Mindfulness meditation will teach you both to slow down and appreciate things more fully. You will learn to calm your body and eliminate negative thoughts. You can join other couples in this introductory class to learn the techniques to get started.
Don’t worry, you don’t need any special equipment to take this class. If you have a hectic lifestyle and are finding it difficult to find time to connect, this is one of my favorite online classes for couples.
When: Monday, February 8th from 7 PM to 8 PM on Spouzal.
Chocolate origins and creations
What could be more romantic than chocolate? Learn chocolate origins and creations with a Jamaican chocolate maker. You and your spouse can learn more about how chocolate became what it is today.
Find out more about the history of chocolate in Jamaica. And, get a special welcome from your host located in Kingston, Jamaica. And, you’ll get to check out the spectacular views from the Blue Mountains that overlook Kingston during your class.
Recipe cards are provided to registered members. If you want online classes for couples that are educational, this is one of my top picks.
When: Friday, February 12th from 6:30 PM to 8 PM on Spouzal.
Virtual tour to Slovenia
Do you miss traveling? If so, why not consider a live, virtual tour to somewhere like Slovenia. Sign up for this class if you want to see the medieval streets, grand houses, remarkable Italianate churches, and some of the finest art nouveau the city has to offer.
During this one hour tour, you will take a walk along the streets of Slovenia and explore the contemporary art, architecture, and shops that make this city so special.
And, you will even be present to place a love lock on the bridge.
When: Saturday, February 13th from 9:30 AM to 10:30 AM on Spouzal
Learn to bake French macarons
If virtual cooking classes are your cup of tea, why not learn how to make these delicious French macarons with your spouse. You will join Jess from her kitchen studio and learn more about what makes this French dessert so special.
Jess is the host of the TV baking show “Flour Power”, now airing in more than 65 countries worldwide. She’s also the author of The Lincoln Apartment Bakery cookbook.
Recipe sheets will be sent to registered members. So, you can either cook along with her. Or, watch the class and bake the dessert later on.
When: Sunday, February 14th from 12:39 PM to 2:30 PM
If you’re looking for online classes for couples, Spouzal has a variety of different virtual classes on Zoom you can take to help strengthen your relationship with your spouse. Find their full schedule and learn more about what they have to offer right here.
