Hearty Skillet Lasagna Recipe

Hearty Skillet Lasagna Recipe

I have been so busy lately working and trying to keep up with the kids and their social lives.  By the time dinner rolls around, I am seriously considering peanut butter and jelly sandwiches for dinner.

I have been playing with my new Ninja Cooking System and decided that I would use it to make this Hearty Skillet Lasagna recipe.  I love this recipe.  I can have a healthy, delicious meal on the table start to finish in 30 minutes.

This Hearty Skillet Lasagna recipe is amazing. The only changes I made were that I used regular spinach instead of baby spinach and I substituted Crave Brothers Fresh Mozzarella Cheese Medallions instead of the shredded mozzarella.

I do love the taste of fresh mozzarella cheese. This recipe was a huge hit with everyone in my family. It is SO much easier than traditional lasagna to make. With the Ninja Cooking System I can brown the meat, cook the noodles, and bake it all in one pot.  Then the pot just lifts out to serve and it’s non-stick so cleaning up afterward takes seconds.

This really is one of my favorite recipes for the Ninja Cooking System. It can do so many different things from sauteeing to baking to slow cooking. If you haven’t already purchased one, I highly recommend you add on to your wish list soon.

You can also try this in a standard slow cooker and it should turn out as well. It just doesn’t have the added functionality of the Ninja Cooking System.

You may also want to try my Italian Rosemary Bread recipe. It goes great with this meal and it’s super easy to make. My family does love bread with Italian food. Does yours?

  4. I love lasagna, but I do not make it to often because I feel it is time consuming.  This recipe looks terrific though and does not seem difficult at all.  I would enjoy trying it in the Ninja Cooking System.

    • Hmmm. I would probably brown the ground beef in a pan, then transfer it to a casserole dish. Layer everything like I did in the recipe and cover it tightly. I’d guess about 350F for 30 – 40 minutes? You’ll probably have to experiment with it. You might want to cook the noodles first too. Not sure if they’d cook properly in the oven or not.
