George Forman Evolve Grill Review
I absolutely love to cook but I admit to having no experience whatsoever in grilling. When we grill, Marty generally does it outside on the grill. Since we’re in Vermont, our grilling generally takes place between Memorial Day and Columbus Day. Any other time is really impossible since everything is covered with snow.
When I was given the opportunity to review the George Foreman Evolve Grill, I was thrilled! Finally a chance to grill year-round! You may be familiar with other versions of the George Foreman Grill, but this was my very first exposure to it.

The George Foreman grill is a healthier way to cook because instead of frying things in fat, you are grilling them. Using the adjustable handle, the grill is tipped forward so that the fat drips out of the grill into a drip pan.
There are two removable non-stick grill plates to grill on. Because it is non-stick, there is no need to add any oil to the grill.
There is a hinge on the back that adjusts to whatever thickness of meat you decide to grill. There is a total of 84 square inches of cooking space!

Grill tips
With the Evolve Grill, you can not only grill meats but with the extra inserts, you can also make sliders and bake casseroles! How cool is that? Like the grill plates, the extra inserts are also non-stick.
When you use the inserts, you use the adjustable handle to bring the grill back to its flat position. It has a very easy to adjust time and temperature function. It’s all digital so you just press a button to adjust them.
The temperature goes up in increments of 25 degrees.
I used the George Foreman Evolve Grill to make NY Strip Sirloin Steaks and then the next night to make Spinach Lasagna.
The steaks were done in 7 minutes just like the instructions said. They came out so tender and juicy. I was really impressed!
The next night we made spinach lasagna. The instructions called for a total of 40 minutes of cooking time. The top & bottom came out slightly burned so I’m thinking next time I will try 30 minutes instead.
It was still absolutely delicious and the kids devoured it.
George Forman Evolve Grill Review
I really like the George Foreman Evolve Grill. I love being able to grill year-round and that it’s much healthier than frying. It is much easier to clean up after too with no splattering from a frying pan.
The non-stick finish is super easy to clean and the lasagna pan took me seconds to wash instead of scrubbing forever to get the pan clean the old way.
This is also a great solution to not heating up my oven in the hot summer months.
I would have loved it if the manual included a few more recipes. I’m just one of those people who follow directions when she cooks. I’ll need to experiment a bit to figure out what else I can make in it.
All in all, this will definitely give me more options when I’m making dinner than I had before.
I definitely recommend the George Forman Evolve Grill.

I don't have one of these but my friend does and she says it is the only way she will cook chicken. I guess I must be too lazy because the idea of having to clean this is beyond me.
