After church, my son and I decided to head over to Fat Tom’s Motorcycle Swap Meet held in Rutland Vermont. I haven’t been on a motorcycle since my before children days but I still love looking at them. My son was suitably impressed with the bikes and had to tell me all about the different motors, etc. I think I horrified him when I told him I thought the yellow one was cute. Evidently motorcycles and cars cannot be cute… ever. There’s lots of other things you can check out at the swap meet besides motorcycles. Vendors have tables set up to sell leather goods, knives, jewelry, and flea market items. Of course, we had to have lunch too!
All in all, it was a nice way to spend the afternoon with my son. Fat Tom is our local auto mechanic and also a huge motorcycle fan. If you’re in the Castleton Vermont area & looking for a reliable auto mechanic, definitely head toward Fair Haven on Route 4A East and stop at Fat Tom’s.
Nope this is not compensated. I received nothing at all for sharing. I just had a great afternoon with my son.
