Check out these easy meals in minutes! While I love to cook, some days I come home from work and am not in the mood to make dinner. I still want a meal I can feel good about eating. And, I know that means ordering a pizza is out of the question. Thankfully, there are a few choices I can rely on when I’m short on time.
Easy Meals in Minutes
Now that the kids have moved out of the house, I really only need to worry about making dinner for my husband and myself. Gone are the days of cooking for four or six people. Now, when I search for 15-minute meals, it’s for two people. And, since we often have different taste preferences, I find myself searching for ways to have a different good for you meal on the table for both of us.
My husband loves traditional American tastes so he’s more likely to want pizza or finger foods like tenders or nuggets. With options like this, I can add a side garden salad or heat up frozen broccoli and he’s set. At times, he wants biscuits or Italian bread as well. And, I can pick both of those up easily from the bakery. That means, that when it’s dinner time, it takes only a few minutes to have food on the table. Honestly, pizza is one of his favorite easy meals in minutes. He’d probably eat it several times a week without complaint.
I’m more likely to try new tastes than my husband is. When I look for easy meals in minutes, I want things like burritos, rice bowls, and international entrees. Just give me a spicy beef teriyaki or a fire-grilled steak bowl. Of course, a side salad with my raspberry vinaigrette salad dressing goes great with everything.
So, if you’re looking for dinner ideas for tonight, check out these easy meals in minutes from Conagra. They’re perfect for nights when you just do not have time to cook from scratch.
Evol Fire Grilled Steak Bowls
Fire-grilled steak raised without antibiotics is combined with black beans, white rice, red and green bell peppers, roasted corn and cheddar cheese mixed with an insanely tasty cilantro lime pesto sauce in this flavor-packed favorite. It’s gluten-free and contains 18g of protein and 7g of fiber in each bowl.
This is one of my favorite easy meals in minutes. If you value clean eating, this is the meal you want to try. It has great taste and texture. And, it’s absolutely delicious! Of course, they have lots of vegetarian options as well.
Gardein Nashville Hot Chick’n Tenders
Juicy plant-based chick’n breaded with a kick of spice! These Chick’n Tenders contain proprietary pea protein. Like Gardein’s other products, they are certified vegan, non-GMO, dairy-free, and kosher. My husband loves these. He is not vegan or vegetarian but, he loves the spicy taste and how easy they are to make.
We look for meatless meals at least a few times a week to keep our carbon footprint down. We love the wide variety of Gardein products available. And, we regularly buy their meatless meatballs for our spaghetti dinner.
Healthy Choice Grain Free Power Bowls Spicy Beef Teriyaki
Braised all-natural beef with vegetables, served on top of riced cauliflower in a sweet and spicy teriyaki sauce. This is one of our favorite easy meals in minutes because it fits a low carb lifestyle.
Plus, it provides a nutrient-dense combination of leafy greens, colorful vegetables, lean proteins, and riced cauliflower. This power bowl really is a meal in one type of entree. And, I love that I can have it on the table in just a few minutes even on the busiest night.
Udi’s Sweet Potato Crust Chicken BBQ Pizza
Udi’s BBQ Flavored Chicken Pizza has a crust made from sweet potatoes and is topped with delicious mozzarella and smoked gouda cheese, sweet BBQ sauce, and white meat chicken. It’s gluten-free and grain-free.
The gluten-free pizza entrees from Udi’s are one of my daughter’s favorite easy meals in minutes. There is such a wide variety to choose from. She was diagnosed as gluten intolerant years ago. So, we always keep these on hand for when she stops by. Plus, my husband loves the delicious taste of the mozzarella and smoked gouda cheese.
