When I was in Arkansas last month, I visited Crystal Bridges Museum of American Art. Crystal Bridges Museum of American Art opened in 2011 and features more than 450 American masterworks from Colonial times to the present day. There are twelves galleries in four separate buildings. There are also more than three miles of walking trails that feature outdoor sculptures and naturally landscaped areas. Admission is free to everyone.

Crystal Bridges is open Monday, Thursday, Saturday and Sunday from 11am to 6pm and Wednesday and Friday from 11am to 9pm. The Muscium is closed on Tuesdays. The Museum offers regular tours but I enjoyed simply wandering through the museum on my own.
