The best skincare for sensitive skin really depends on each person’s needs. I have had sensitive skin for most of my life. Finding the best skincare for sensitive skin has become a lifelong process for me. When I don’t pay attention to what I use on my face, I find that my skin is redder, more irritated and less smooth looking. Even after applying a primer and foundation, I can still tell when I haven’t used the best skincare for sensitive skin. While each person needs to find a product that works best for them, there are some guidelines you can follow when looking for new products.
Best Skincare For Sensitive Skin
- Oil free. Oil clogs your pores and will irritate your skin. Search for products that are labelled oil free.
- Avoid artificial perfumes and dyes. Artificial perfumes and dyes can be very drying and irritating for sensitive skin.
- Sun protection. Your skin should be protected from the sun at all times. Don’t let a cloudy day fool you.
- Remove your makeup. Never go to sleep with makeup on. It clogs your pores and results in break outs.
- Moisturize. Even oily skin needs a light moisturizer. Dry skin is often irritated and red.
I recently tried a new line of skincare products called Simple. Simple offers a full line of skincare products for sensitive skin. Best of all, because they are gentle on your skin, they are suitable for all skin types. I was able to try the Simple Protecting Light Moisturizer. While I am very good about remembering to remove my make up, I have to admit that I often forget to use a moisturizer before I put on my makeup. I can always tell when I have forgotten because a few hours later, my skin starts feeling tight and I have more flaking than normal. My rosacea medication dries out my skin and can cause flaking.
Simple Protecting Light Moisturizer is also a broad spectrum SPF 15 sunscreen. Unlike many sunscreens, it is oil free so I know it is the best choice for my face. Simple never uses artificial perfume, dyes or harsh irritants that can irritate your skin. It has been dermatologist tested, is non-comedogenic, and is hypoallergenic. Simple skincare contains no animal derived ingredients. I love that the moisturizer is unscented. When I’m applying products to my face, perfumes can aggravate my allergies. I’m glad that isn’t something I have to worry about with Simple.
I have been using this light moisturizer from Simple every morning before applying my make up. It glides on smoothly and leaves behind no residue or sticky feeling. My skin feels softer and less tight after I use it. I’m not seeing as much redness in my skin when I apply this in the morning.
The first 500 people to opt in will be able to receive their own Protecting Light Moisturizer.
Simple has no dyes, artificial perfumes or harsh irritants that can upset your skin. Instead, just our purest possible skin loving ingredients with added vitamins, for natural healthy-looking skin. Offering a skincare range suitable for all skin types – especially sensitive skin – Simple has helped generations of women look and feel beautiful. http://www.facebook.com/simpleskincare
