Active Women Need Bandages That Stay On

Last Updated on September 23, 2020 by Ellen Christian

While I may spend part of the day in a chair behind a computer, I lead a fairly active lifestyle.  Depending on the day, you may find me taking care of the ducks and chickens, weeding the garden, pruning trees, fixing the faucet in the kitchen sink or putting together furniture. That’s just the work that needs to be done. Fun times are active too especially when I’m geocaching or exercising.  When I use a bandage, I need it to stay where I put it no matter what I’m doing.

Bandages that stay on

Active Women Need Bandages That Stay On

I’m sure you’ve felt that way at times too. If you think it’s hard to find a bandage that stays on when you’re gardening, try finding a bandage that stays on when you go head-to-head with a high pressure fire hose like Nana. Or how about when you’re dumpster diving? Or having a showdown with a giant dump truck full of dirt? I know I’d need bandages that stay on then too. The dramatizations in the videos show how the bandages can be used in everyday-life.

Nexcare Brand has enlisted an unexpected new product tester, Nexcare Nana, to demonstrate the strength and superior performance of Nexcare Waterproof Bandages and show just how tough they are. Nexcare Waterproof Bandages have staying power. Nexcare Nana conducts intense product tests that put her, and Nexcare Waterproof Bandages, up against their biggest opponents – water, dirt and germs.

Nexcare Waterproof Bandages give you waterproof protection that utilizes innovation and technology to create a barrier between wounds and everyday activities.  That’s why they stay in place and stand up to long-wear.  The 360 degree seal helps prevent against infection.  3M products are trusted by doctors and nurses for over 60 years so I know that I can trust them too.

I may not be dumpster diving or going head on with a fire hose but Nexcare Waterproof Bandages work great for my active life.  They stay where I put them whether I’m gardening or washing dishes and that means I don’t need to worry about dirt, water or germs getting into my cut. I put a Nexcare Waterproof Bandage on in the morning and even after exercising, washing the dishes, gardening and washing my hands several times, it still stayed exactly where I put it all day. It was still in place when my husband brought me flowers later that day.

  1. I am always outside in the garden and doing yard work and have cut my self a few times, I have seen these in stores but never tried them, wonder how they hold up myself, especially in the water.

  4. It is so frustrating to have a bandage that won't even stay on while washing dishes. I just knocked off a toe nail and am having the hardest time keeping it covered. I'll have to try this brand. Thanks!

  5. I have used a few different brands of bandages, and this brand has always stayed on the best. I used their larger bandages to cover my belly button while it healed after my umbilical hernia surgery earlier this year. They worked great!

  6. I happen to be one of those active women who requires a good bandage.  Mom duties put my hands through some rough situations.

  7. Nexcare are the only bandages in my home. I like you and am always doing so many things I don't have time to keep chasing my bandages. I love I can go from doing dishes in really hot water to vacuuming and never have to stop due to a loose band aid. No one has time for that :)

  8. Oh this is great news! I hate when they slip off all of the time. I love their blister bandaids, too -- lifesavers!

  9. I hate loosing bandages especially when I don't have another one near by.  I am going to have to look into these, my most common place to loose them is doing the dishes and my hands get wet.
