Gluten free recipe – California grape spread with cream cheese & nuts
Sandwich spreads are very versatile. Not only can you eat them on bread, you can also have them on bagels or crackers. If you are trying to go low carb, you can have them on celery sticks. When I was challenged to feature a healthy snacking recipe using California grapes, I decided to go with this gluten free recipe – Grape spread with cream cheese and nuts. California grown grapes account for 99% of all the grapes sold in the US. I always prefer to purchase produce that has been grown in the USA. To make this even more healthy, I chose to use low fat cream cheese. If you’re not concerned with fat content, you can use regular cream cheese. You can also try it with fat free cream cheese or yogurt cheese if you’d prefer.

This looks really good and I would love to eat it on wheat crackers. It is simple too, which is always a good thing.
I love this stuff! My grandmother used to make it for summer get-togethers!
