With the holidays only a few months away, I wanted to share a few photo craft ideas and share this easy DIY how to make a pen caddy. I’m a huge fan of useful gifts. And, anyone who works at a desk probably has a need for a pen caddy to hold their pens and pencils.

Photo Craft Ideas
I love making photo crafts because they are personalized, and I can show off some of the photos I love taking of the kids. I use the HP Sprocket 2 in 1 or my iPhone to take my photos. If you don’t already have one of these, you need to add it to your Christmas gift wish list.
So, what is the HP Sprocket 2-in-1? To put it simply, it’s a pocket-sized printer. About the size of a smartphone, this printer goes anywhere. And, it can easily fit into your bag or backpack, and it’s so light you’ll barely notice it’s there.
Plus, it allows you and your friends to connect and wirelessly print from the printer. And, it provides you with high-quality instant photos (Up to 313 x 400 dpi color resolution). So, you can easily print your photos from social media. Connect your social media accounts to the HP Sprocket App and instantly turn any of those photos into colorful prints.
It includes a built-in 5 MP camera that is equipped with LED dual color flash and allows you to capture and print photos in the moment. And, you can easily customize your photo before printing it. Tap the Edit button to add a filter, frame, sticker, text, emojis, or to crop your image.

Directions:
- You will need 6 of your favorite HP Sprocket Photos printed out. If you already have some you like, you can use those. If not, find and print six using your HP Sprocket or HP Sprocket 2 in 1.
- Slide the photos into the slots in the pen caddy photo display.
- Swap out the photos as you want.
I love that if you print your photos through the HP Sprocket App you can add all sorts of cute emojis to the photos. It’s a great way to personalize the gift for each holiday. And, there are so many gift ideas using photos that can be made with the HP Sprocket. Check out this photo bookmark DIY from DIY Inspired and this Sprocket Photo Calendar by My Printly. You can always create a Sprocket Photo Album as well.
So, have you gotten your own HP Sprocket yet? I hope you have a chance to try a few of these photo craft ideas.
