Hi. My name is Ellen and I’m a coffee addict. There is just no way I can conceive of starting my morning off without several cups of coffee. I don’t want just a plain black cup of coffee. I want something more exotic. I want a cappuccino or a latte. I want it hot and sweet and topped with frothed milk and I want it now. I don’t want to have to drive to a coffee house and wait for a barista to make me my gourmet coffee drink. I may be addicted to coffee but I’m still a frugal girl at heart.

Capresso Automatic Milk Frother
lets you make your very own delicious hot or cold milk that’s perfect for cappuccinos, cafe lattes or hot chocolates. This is a large capacity milk frother and can make 8 ounces of frothed milk or 12 ounces of steamed milk. For me that works out to about two cups worth of frothed milk if you like it light like I do.
The Capresso has three options. You can make your milk cold & frothed; hot and frothed or warm and frothed. Now, I want my coffee hot so for me the ideal selection is the hot and frothed selection. On the other hand, Sarah17 loves her iced coffee drinks so she chooses the cold and frothed selection. David13 doesn’t drink coffee but is a huge hot cocoa fan so he uses the warm and frothed selection which cools his cocoa down to drinking temperature with the added benefit of yummy frothed milk on top.
The Capresso has an added feature that I really appreciate. You can froth and steam not only plain milk, but you can froth and steam chocolate milk! For those of us that love to make mochas, that is a fantastic option! Now my yummy coffee can have frothed chocolate milk on top for added chocolatey goodness. Works great for hot cocoa or iced coffee drinks too.
You simply pour the cold milk into the Capresso and press the button of choice depending on how you want your milk. You can choose to simply have it heated with no froth if you like or go with the froth and the heat or just the froth. It’s really an all purpose machine! The Capresso turns off automatically when it’s at the temperature you want.
The milk pitcher has a see through lid which I really appreciate because I can keep an eye on it. I have over filled milk frothers in the past and made a huge mess. That won’t happen with this one because I can see the level that the froth is at. Of course, if I stopped over filling the milk frother, that wouldn’t happen to begin with but just in case, I am prepared! The milk pitcher and lid are both dishwasher safe for easy clean up or do like me and toss them in a tub of hot soapy water instead.
