If you’re looking for Vermont family travel destinations, you’ll want to look at the Hilton Burlington. Burlington is the largest city in Vermont and there are many different family attractions and activities you can enjoy in the area. Thank you to the Hilton Burlington for paying for my accommodations so I could enjoy the area.

Hilton Burlington for Vermont Family Travel
The Hilton Burlington is located on Battery Street which is a central location to the Church Street Marketplace and waterfront areas. The Hilton Burlington is located on the waterfront, and we had a gorgeous view of Lake Champlain and the Adirondack Mountains. It’s only two blocks from the Church Street Marketplace so it’s an easy walk and a great way to enjoy the views.
There ae so many different things to do in the area, that the Hilton Burlington is a perfect central location. You can enjoy a trip on the Spirit of the Ethan Allen III, visit the VT Teddy Bear Factory, or stop by the ECHO Lake Aquarium with the kids. I love walking around on Church Street and visiting the handmade vendors that set up shop for the day. We’ve gotten some gorgeous knitted hats and tie-dye t-shirts there.
Of course, you don’t have to actually leave the hotel to have fun because the amenities are amazing. There is an indoor swimming pool, a complimentary fitness center, and a newly renovated restaurant. We had an amazing lunch at their restaurant, The Mounted Cat, and had a chance to try all of their top menu items. You can enjoy your time at the restaurant in their indoor dining room or outside on the patio.
We stayed in a beautiful room at the Hilton Burlington during their #HiltonBurlington40 Celebration. We loved the 1970s theme of the event and got to enjoy disco music and food from the 1970s. My husband was thrilled with the lime green Jell-O, Ring Dings, and bologna and cheese sandwiches on white bread (with the crusts cut off of course).
The Hilton Burlington is Pet-Friendly. They are a supporter of the Bark and Brew event that is offered by the Humane Society of Chittenden County. Friendly, fixed, and vaccinated dogs are welcome to attend with their owners and enjoy playtime with their furry friends in the fenced in play yard.
If you’re planning a trip to the Burlington, Vermont area, I definitely recommend that you stay at the Hilton Burlington.

Beautiful AND pet friendly! That is so hard to find! If I ever find myself in VT I will definitely check this place out!
Fantastic!
Pet friendly is so important to me. I don’t travel often, but when I do, I want my dogs to be able to come, too!
It’s a wonderful option!
This sounds like a lovely place to check out in VT. If I ever travel to the New England area, which I would love to some day, I will have to check it out! It sounds like a really wonderful location.
