Healthy Lifestyle Motivation Ideas
It’s not easy staying motivated to live a healthy lifestyle. It’s a lot easier to sit on the couch with a book or my iPhone and play games. I know that’s not what I need to feel good about myself so I try to find healthy lifestyle motivation ideas that will keep me on track like these.
- Pay attention to what you eat and how much water you drink. I keep a journal where I write down what I’ve eaten and how much water I’ve had that day. It really motivates me to see the good choices that I’m making. If you’re more of a digital kind of person, there are a lot of great apps that do the same thing.
- Splurge on little extras. I’m not a big fan of drinking water but I love my water bottle. When I exercise, I like wearing stylish athletic clothes. I have much more motivation to exercise when I feel good about what I’m wearing.
- Make simple daily changes. Changing everything about your life overnight is difficult. It’s easier to make little changes slowly. I’ve noticed a difference when I cut out processed foods, add more fruits and vegetables to my diet, and get outside for 15 minutes a day for a walk. I’m always motivated by my little successes.
- Be aware of what’s holding you back and deal with it. Spring time means allergy season for me and it’s hard for me to feel motivated to exercise when my allergies are bothering me. Thankfully, FLONASE® Allergy Relief lets me be greater than my allergies.
FLONASE® Allergy Relief is now available over the counter and it helps block six allergic substances.* FLONASE® Allergy Relief provides 24-hour relief of: nasal congestion, runny nose, sneezing, itchy nose, itchy eyes and watery eyes. It’s much easier for me to be motivated to get outside and be healthy when I’m not dealing with allergy symptoms.
FLONASE® Allergy Relief has been helping me manage my spring allergies. Generally, I get a runny nose and watery eyes with occasional sneezing thrown in just for fun. When I use it once a day, FLONASE® Allergy Relief keeps my symptoms in check and lets me be greater than my allergies. I’m much more motivated to exercise as part of a healthy lifestyle when I’m not suffering from allergies.
*Mechanism vs most over-the-counter (OTC) allergy pills. FLONASE® acts on multiple inflammatory substances (histamine, prostaglandins, cytokines, tryptases, chemokines, and leukotrienes). The exact number and precise mechanism are unknown.

Thank you for the great advice. Also I love the photos. Great post.
Thanks so much, Dawn!
Making simple changes is great advice! I’m a big “I’ve got to change everything at once!” type person and it generally sets me up for failure. Slow and stead wins the race, right?
That’s really true, Jeannette!
These are all great tips. I love splurging on little extras like a good sports bra or a fun water bottle to help keep me motivated as well 🙂
Thanks, Danielle! It really does help with the motivation.

That’s fantastic, Amber! It really does help!
