Have you ever had a busy Saturday where you completely forgot about dinner? These past few weeks have been crazy, especially the weekends. Our refrigerator died. My desk broke. Our phone stopped charging. I’ve been searching for a few simple meals to make on a busy Saturday and have decided that my Instant Pot is the answer. There are just so many different types of things that you can prepare in them and they are almost all ready in less than an hour even when I forget to defrost something.

25 Instant Pot Meals for a Busy Saturday
If you aren’t familiar with the Instant Pot, it’s a programmable pressure cooker. Unlike pressure cookers that our parents and grandparents used, it has a lot of safety features that make me feel better. I used to freak out about using a pressure cooker before trying the Instant Pot, but it’s so easy that I use it regularly now.

The Instant Pot is one of the most versatile kitchen appliances I’ve ever owned. You can do everything from making bone broth to making yogurt in it. Unlike a slow cooker that cooks dinner over 6-8 hours, an Instant Pot uses pressure to have dinner ready (and just as tender), in just an hour or so depending on the recipe.
What’s your favorite meal to prepare in the Instant Pot?

You’re welcome!
I’m hard worker too. And I knew that it’s hard to find cheap nutrient food outside except cook by myself. Instant meals are good choice for me! Thanks
You’re very welcome!
What a list! I love this! Chicken Tacos.
There really are lots of great choices!
What a great list! I want to try the Buffalo Chicken Meatballs first!
That does sound good!
When I was growing up my Mom made Porcipine meatballs in a pressure cooker and I loved them. After I was grown I tried making them without a pressure cooker and they weren’t even close to mamas. But a pressure cooker scared me to even try. I’m so glad to read about the instant pot and will be getting one.
I definitely love mine!
Some of these sound delicious! I love anything that’s easy to make! 🙂
That’s a definite plus!
So many of these sound great! I want to try the Honey Sesame Chicken this week. Also, I love that you make yogurt in an Instant Pot. Thanks for the instructions 🙂
Glad to share, Barbara. Thanks for stopping by!
The Vegan Chickpea Curry sounds good for Saturday (tomorrow). I need to use my Instant Pot more so these encouraging posts really do help. I don’t have an army to feed, lol, but it does save so much time, especially for all the beans I eat! My little frig stopped working last year (over a decade old) then sprang back to life, so I didn’t get a new one yet. I watch it like a hawk though and some day it will bite the dust for good I’m sure. Tiny thing and cost less than $100, so it’s a trooper for sure. Have a good weekend!
That is a great deal, Deb. Ours was definitely not that cheap!
Yummy! So many great recipes, I just pinned the whole post.
Thank you so much!
