https://www.recipelion.com/Years ago, I had boxes and boxes of VHS and DVD movies stored in the living room. Thankfully, having access to the best Netflix original movies has allowed me to declutter those movies while still having access to great entertainment. If you’re anything at all like me, you used to buy movies, watch them once, and then store them away in your entertainment center or a box somewhere and never look at them again. Thank you to Netflix for sponsoring this post.

5 Best Netflix Original Movies
I love having access to the latest entertainment, but I rarely want to watch the same movie more than once. What that used to mean was piles of DVDs that I watched once and held onto because I thought I should. There were even times that I bought the same movie more than once because I forgot I already had a copy. With Netflix, I can watch all of the latest movies without the clutter and expense of buying DVDs.
Tony Robbins: I am not your guru
Tony Robbins clients swear by his unorthodox life coaching methods. A revealing film goes behind the curtain at his annual mega-event. I was impressed that this movie was mentioned as one one of the best documentaries on the Minimalists podcast I listened to this morning.
Chef’s Table
In this original docu-series, find out what’s inside the kitchens and minds of the international culinary stars who are redefining gourmet food. I love cooking shows, so this was a program that I enjoy watching. I enjoyed watching episode three which is about open fire cooking.
Mission Blue
This documentary follows oceanographer Sylvia Earle’s campaign to save the world’s oceans from threats such as overfishing and toxic waste. The underwater photography in this show is stunning.
Winter on Fire: Ukraine’s Fight for Freedom
Over 93 days in Ukraine, what started as peaceful student demonstrations became violent revolution and full-fledged civil rights movement. I love shows that give me a look into the political life and changes in other countries.
Daredevil
Blinded as a young boy, Matt Murdock fights injustice by day and by night as the Super Hero Daredevil in Hell’s Kitchen, New York City. This one is on the list for the kids and my husband who are HUGE Super Hero Fans. I love that Netflix has something for everyone.
If you have younger kids in the family, make sure that you tune into Beat Bugs on Netflix. With a little help from rock legends, five friendly bugs learn big lessons about the world around them – all from the safety of their backyard.

Just in time, we were saying we needed a new show to watch! We just finished our show on netflix! We’ve heard of daredevil – heard it was good. I think we will give that one a try next.
My kids definitely enjoy it!
I love that Netflix has so many options for movies available now!!! I love to stream movies, it really does save so much space to not have so many movies laying around.
I agree. I have no need for DVDs now!
These all sound like great movies. Netflix has really raised the bar on original programming. I’ve been watching a lot of their originals lately.
There are lots of great movies to watch!
Chef’s Table is right up my alley!!
I bet you’d enjoy it!
