Holiday Gingerbread Latte Coffee Recipe
Christmas means stress. OK it shouldn’t mean stress. It should mean candy canes and Christmas cookies and Santa and happy children singing Christmas carols. But it doesn’t.
What it really means is working 12 hours a day, fighting traffic with idiots who have forgotten how to drive, teenagers who have Christmas lists longer than my arm and more things than I can accomplish and still keep my sanity.
The only way I actually make it through the stress of the holidays is with caffeine. It can’t be just any caffeinated beverage. The caffeine may keep me going so I can get everything done; but, I need to make it a little special as a reward for getting everything done.
Of all the holiday coffee drink recipes I’ve tried, this Gingerbread Latte recipe is one of my favorites. It’s got a yummy holiday flavor like the lattes you buy at the coffee houses without any of the chemicals they put in theirs. It’s a healthier choice that you can make right at home.
How to make gingerbread syrup
You can make the extra Gingerbread Syrup into a great Christmas gift. Just put it in a Mason jar with a gift tag. That’s one less gift you have to worry about getting.
What is gingerbread latte made of?
