Much of my day is spent working, taking care of the house, and making sure that other people have what they need. I have been trying to make sure that I take time out of my busy day to focus on me. If I don’t do that, it’s too easy for me to burn out. And, that isn’t good for anyone.
Indulge Yourself With Gevalia Mexican Coffee
There are many ways to indulge yourself but one of my favorites is with a great cup of coffee. You might even say that finding a great cup of coffee is one of my passions in life.
Coffee gives me the burst of energy I need to make it through a busy day. Since I enjoy my coffee light and sweet, I also consider a cup of coffee a sweet indulgence without going overboard with the calories.
What is Mexican Coffee?
So, Mexican coffee is basically traditional black coffee along with grated cinnamon and sugar. In traditional Mexican coffee, you don’t just add the cinnamon and sugar after the coffee is brewed.
You add it to the grounds while the coffee is brewing. So, this isn’t authentic Mexican coffee but it does have the taste of Mexican coffee along with the ease of brewing with K-cups.
Since this indulgent moment was just for me, I really only needed one cup of coffee instead of a whole pot. My Cuisinart Keurig lets me make just one cup of coffee at a time using the Keurig K-Cups. So, there is no need to grind gourmet coffee beans just for me. You can also use a reusable k-cup and ground coffee if you are concerned about the waste of k-cups.
I was all out of coffee K-Cups so I took a few minutes to pop into Walmart to see what I could find. I could tell that the new Gevalia Columbia K-Cups were a popular choice because there were only a few left on the shelf!
So, I picked up a box of Gevalia Columbia K-Cups and a few other things to set the mood for my indulgent moment. Then, I headed home to enjoy my Gevalia Mexican coffee before the kids got home from school.
Gevalia Columbia Coffee K-cups
Gevalia prides itself on the rich, never bitter taste of its coffee. While I have tried their ground coffee in the past, I have never tried their K-Cups before. The single-cup coffee K-Cups let me enjoy that same rich taste without grinding the beans or brewing a full pot of coffee.
I decided to create a truly indulgent experience by making myself a coffee shop drink at home with the Gevalia Columbian coffee. Since it’s almost Cinco de Mayo, I thought a yummy Gevalia Mexican Coffee was in order.
Yummmm. Just those few moments to enjoy this delicious indulgence are enough to help me make it through the rest of the day. If you’d like to indulge yourself with a Gevalia Mexican coffee, why not pick up a package of K-cups. Learn how to get your coffee with less waste.
So, if you’re looking for a Gevalia coupon, you might want to check your local newspaper or their website. I haven’t found one that’s currently active. But, if there is one, that’s where you’d find one. I also use a variety of different coupon apps like iBotta to save. You can search on iBotta at the app store.
Now, if you don’t have a K-cup coffee maker and still want to try my recipe, you can certainly use the same process using Gevalia instant coffee. Or, you could even use Gevalia ground coffee. Or, there are Gevalia Tassimo discs as well. There are lots of ways to make this Gevalia Mexican coffee recipe.
Coffee with less sugar
While traditional Mexican coffee uses sugar, you can certainly use an alternative sweetener if you’re concerned about sugar. I have tried this same recipe with stevia. And, I really like the way it tastes. You could try it with agave or honey as well if you want to.
The taste of this Gevalia Mexican coffee recipe will be a little bit different but you might love it! You may want to try topping it with cold foam. Finally, check out this post to get started.

Yum, looks amazing. Sadly I cant drink coffee. It gives me the jitters. I do drink a small cup of cordyceps and reishi mushroom  a day, which is an organic coffee.
I’ve never heard of that before. I’m not sure I’d make it through the day without coffee!
If youve ever had adrenal fatigue you cant drink coffee, I had to find other gentler ways to get some zing.
I can definitely understand that!
Oh my goodness that looks good!! I’m printing out that recipe!! YUM!!
It was delicious, Jamie!
