Marty and I don’t drink or serve alcohol to our guests. So, to offer our guests something a little special when we entertain, these non-alcoholic drinks can be a great choice.

Summer Mocktails

We can always offer lemonade or my Templeton iced tea but sometimes I want something just a little bit different. Thankfully, there are lots of different summer mocktails we can make to serve at our parties.

This fruit-filled virgin sangria recipe is one of my very favorites because it’s loaded with fresh, organic fruit. It tastes so refreshing on a hot summer day.

This is the perfect summer mocktail recipe because I can vary the fresh fruit I use based on what is in season. So, if you don’t have cherries but do have raspberries, you can use those instead.

If you don’t have orange juice but do have pineapple juice, feel free to substitute.

What fruits should I add to sangria?

Because you will be floating the fruit (orange, lime, and lemon) in your mocktail, please choose organic. Don’t be afraid to experiment with this a little bit.

You can even try this virgin sangria with ginger ale if you want fizz in your drink. I’m going to try this non-alcoholic sangria with cranberry juice for our Thanksgiving day celebration.

You can really float all sorts of fruit in your sangria. It entirely depends on your taste preferences. Mix and match or try them alone in your favorite recipe. Here are a few you might want to try:

  • Lemon
  • Lime
  • Apple
  • Strawberry
  • Blackberry
  • Mango

To make it easier to serve your mocktails this summer, I really recommend a serving tray and a large glass pitcher. You can mix up a big batch of your favorite mocktail ahead of time and store it in the refrigerator.

So, when your guests arrive, you can put the pitcher and glasses on your tray and head outside. No one wants to spend a lot of time in the summer in the kitchen.

It’s a lot more fun to be out visiting with your guests while sipping your favorite mocktail recipe.

These summer mocktail recipes will be perfect for your Girls Night In party this summer. So, gather a bunch of friends, send the men off to watch the kids, find a chick flick on the television and you will be all set to relax.

If TV isn’t your thing, how about a mani / pedi party? Have everyone bring a few of their favorite nail polishes and enjoy a few hours being pampered.

What is non alcoholic sangria made of?

Summer Mocktails are very easy to make. It’s just a matter of removing the alcohol from your favorite drink and replacing it with a juice of some sort. So, this Virgin Sangria mocktail is a yummy combination of pomegranate juice and black tea.

I am a huge fan of both pomegranate juice and iced tea because they taste great together. Have you ever tried making root beer?

Now, if you’re looking for a Sangria Senorial recipe, this non-alcoholic sangria isn’t quite what you want. You’ll want to try more grape juice with a bit of lemon and a bunch of sugar.

Finally, If you find one that works for you, let me know. I would love to try it. From what my husband says, this Mexican soda recipe is out of this world.

But, sadly I cannot find it locally. You’re in luck, though, you can buy it on Amazon which may be a lot easier than trying to replicate the recipe.

  1. Hey, these all sound good to me. Sometimes I want the flavor of a good cocktail, but without the alcohol. These would serve the purpose perfectly!
