Nothing makes me feel more pampered than a sparkling tropical drink on a hot day. I may be sipping it sitting in a lawn chair in my backyard but it still works for me! I can close my eyes and imagine myself on a sandy beach somewhere tropical.

This is also a perfect mocktail to serve over the holidays when your guests want something that goes with brunch. We often make it on New Years Day or Mother’s Day.

What is a good non alcoholic substitute for champagne?

Marty and I don’t drink. So, when I want one of those tropical drinks, I use sparkling mineral water. Mineral water contains dissolved minerals that occur naturally in groundwater. Sparkling mineral water contains not only these dissolved minerals but also contains natural gases or is artificially carbonated with carbon dioxide.

Ferrarelle mineral water goes back millennia. It flows over subterranean rocks that are centuries old in Italy. According to Ferrarelle, when it rains, droplets fall on the extinct volcano, Roccamonfino, and penetrate through to the subsoil.

During its ten-year journey, the water flows inside of the volcano where inside the pyroclastic blanket of rock where it’s purified and picks up certain minerals. During its underground journey, the water meets with carbon dioxide to give it its natural sparkle.

Is there champagne without alcohol?

People often use non alcoholic sparkling wine in a non alcoholic Mimosa recipe. It’s a great substitution for champagne with no alcohol.

What kind of juice goes in mimosas?

Mimosas are champagne-based cocktails typically made with orange juice and sparkling wine. Sometimes people add a squeeze of lime. It is served in a champagne flute with ice cubes and juice. I think you’ll find that most people who make them at home — or in college — tend to use whatever they have on hand: orange, mango, pineapple, guava juices are all common substitutes.

Ferrarelle Sparkling Mineral water contains a unique blend of minerals (magnesium, fluoride, potassium, silica bicarbonate, and calcium) that make it  Calcium is good for our bone structure and we should take in 1000mg a day.  Ferrarelle Sparkling Mineral Water contains 365 mg per liter!

And, Ferrarelle Sparkling Mineral Water has a very smooth taste that’s nice and fresh. It goes particularly well with cheese dishes, ravioli, crepes, and white meat with delicate sauces.  It even goes well with pizza!

I decided to try it out in a non-alcoholic orange tangerine mimosa.  It’s turned out to be one of our favorite mimosa recipes with fruit

This was truly amazing and so relaxing on a hot day.  I love knowing that there is an all-natural sparkling mineral water that I can use. Look for it in stores near you.

  1. What a neat and easy to follow drink recipe. We're not drinkers either, but some days something like this sounds so good, but I don't indulge, because my brain automatically starts counting calories, plus I'm just not a big drinker anyway.

I'll give this a try this weekend. Thanks for sharing.
