Ravioli Lasagna Casserole Recipe

There are so many things that need to be done during the week that making a homemade meal can be a challenge. I don’t want to have to turn to take out because I know that’s not a healthy option for my family. But, I need something on the table fast that everyone will love.

This casserole is so easy that your family will think you put a bunch of effort into it when you really don’t have to. You can serve it with a side salad and a loaf of Italian bread or crusty rolls if you have more mouths to feed. It’s perfect for a busy night. But, it’s fancy enough to serve if you’re entertaining.

This holiday season, we’ve partnered with Three Bridges, makers of premium pasta and sauces that are simple, honest and better-for-you, to create deliciously quick and easy recipes for all of your holiday celebrations. Your guests will definitely be impressed. And, you’ll have a meal that doesn’t take forever to make.

Whether you choose to make this for your family or take it with you to a holiday celebration, you’ll love the taste and how easy it is to make. If you prefer not to use sausage, you could easily make a ravioli bake with ground beef or even meatballs.

You can even mix a few of the Three Bridges ravioli together to make your own unique taste combination. The Three Bridges Grilled Chicken and Prosciutto Ravioli tastes wonderful in this recipe as well.

Can you freeze this meal?

Yes, just like any other type of casserole, you can make it ahead of time and freeze it. Use a freezer-safe container and cover it tightly to prevent freezer burn.

Remove it from the freezer and allow it to defrost in the refrigerator before baking following the directions in this post. It should stay good provided it’s tightly covered for up to three months.

Ravioli lasagna with ricotta cheese

So, each ravioli contains ricotta cheese in the center. But, if you want to make a ravioli lasagna with ricotta cheese between the layers, you can do that as well.

Just make a layer of the ravioli and add a layer of the ricotta cheese before you top it with more ravioli. Alternatively, you can use cottage cheese if you cannot find ricotta or you want to save a little bit of money when you make this casserole.

  1. I love this as a lasagna shortcut. Three Bridges seems to have some really amazing flavors that would work in different casseroles with different sauces and cheeses.
