If not, you are in for a treat! I used to love baked peaches when I was younger, but the way I made them was not the healthiest. Instead of adding butter (or worse margarine) and brown sugar, this simple fruit dessert uses coconut oil and honey! Have you ever tried Paleo baked peaches? How to Make Paleo Baked Peaches

It has all of the amazing yumminess of traditionally baked peaches but is more acceptable for someone who is trying to follow the Paleo or clean eating diet.

Summer means fresh peaches, and I love fresh peaches. We use to have a peach tree but a hard winter killed it years ago.

Since that time, I look for organic peaches at our local farmer’s market or at the grocery store. I can usually only find them in the summer so I consider this dessert to be a real treat.

Best of all, it’s a quick and easy, healthy dessert you can make for a busy school night. If you have leftovers, they’re healthy enough to let the kids have them for breakfast the next morning.

Not that I generally have any leftovers.

What’s in Paleo baked peaches?

This recipe is very simple to make. You need only fresh peaches, coconut oil, honey, and cinnamon.

You can add Greek yogurt to the top if you are not following a Paleo diet. Or, if you just want a healthy dessert, you can add a small scoop of vanilla ice cream to the top.

My husband doesn’t consider it dessert unless it has ice cream.

What is Neem Honey?

I’d never tried Neem Honey before so I did a bit of research on the Heavenly Organics site. Their bees live outside of the box in naturally occurring, wild beehives found deep within the untouched forests of Central India where bees pollinate the blooming Neem flowers.

They use bee-friendly and smoke-free methods that protect wild bee colonies and eliminate the potential for forest fires. I love that they worked so well in this Paleo baked peaches recipe.

I also learned that Neem has been used for medicinal remedies for centuries and is known for its antibacterial and digestive health properties. The methods used by Heavenly Organics preserve the pollen, vitamins, minerals, and enzymes found in raw honey.

This honey is USDA organic, non-GMO Project Verified, Fair for Life – Fair Trade Certified by IMO, From Wild Hives, Pesticide & Antibiotic Free, and Certified Organic by Ecocert ICO. I love this!
