Protein is an excellent choice when it comes to snacks because it can help you feel full longer. That means you need fewer calories to fill you up than with a different snack. It can also help you resist the temptation to snack on less healthy foods. Two of the easiest ways to get extra protein into your diet is by adding protein powder to your favorite recipe or by enjoying a protein bar for a snack.

If you’ve ever checked out the ingredients, you’ll know that not all protein powders or protein bars are created equally. It’s important to me that I stick to eating products that are as clean as possible, without artificial ingredients. Purely Inspired French Vanilla Organic Protein Powder is a vegan-friendly (100% plant based), gluten- and GMO-free protein powder that has 20 grams of protein, seven grams of fiber, and a fruit and veggie blend. There are no artificial colors or flavors, and it’s the only truly organic USDA approved plant-based protein powder out there. For those chocolate lovers out there, it’s also available in Decadent Chocolate.

I added the Purely Inspired French Vanilla Organic Protein Powder to my favorite no-bake snack to make an easy no bake vegan protein ball. I love the yummy French Vanilla and I feel good about enjoying these because I know they’re organic.

There are a lot of different ways to add protein powder into your day. These protein balls are a great choice when you’re on the run. Just toss a few in a recyclable container and you’re on your way. You can also stir a scoop of protein powder into your smoothie, your yogurt or your favorite baked good.  Or, grab a protein bar like the Mission1 Clean Protein Bar in Cookies & Cream or Chocolate Chip Cookie Dough. I love that they both contain stevia! Definitely, try the Cookies and Cream variety. That’s our favorite!

Find the Purely Inspired Organic Protein Powder ($19.97 for 1.5 lbs) and the Protein Bars (4 pack ($6.94) OR buy an individual bar ($1.84)) at Walmart.
