Relaxing Essential Oil Blend for a Peaceful Evening Routine

Last Updated on May 9, 2023 by Ellen Christian

Using this relaxing essential oil blend can make all the difference in having a peaceful evening routine. I don’t know about you, but I find it very difficult to be my best the next day if I don’t get a good night’s sleep. Even the littlest things bother me, and I can tell that I’m not as focused or on task as I am when I get enough sleep. Creating a peaceful evening routine can really help me relax.

Peaceful Evening Routine

There are a lot of different reasons I may not get a good night’s sleep. Sometimes, I have too much on my mind. Or, I might be sore from mowing the lawn or a bit too much gardening that afternoon. And, there are nights I’m worried about whether or not I’ll have light bladder leakage. It’s not easy to fall asleep when you’re worried about things.

I really find that creating a peaceful evening routine that I follow each night helps with worrying. I try to go to bed at the same time each night whenever possible. The bedroom is free of electronics, and I keep it as calm and clear of clutter as possible. That way I am not distracted by things I need to deal with when I’m trying to fall asleep.

My evening routine includes spraying this relaxing essential oil blend on my sheets to help me unwind. I spend a few minutes journalling before bed to calm my thoughts. And, I make sure that I wear TENA intimates® Overnight Pads just in case. It offers the same great absorbency with Triple Protection, now with ProSkin Technology™ for worry-free nighttime protection and fast absorption for staying fresh.

I don’t want to give up doing the things I enjoy doing because I’m worried about light bladder leakage. I can’t enjoy life to the fullest if I’m always worried about what might happen. One leak is too many. I need to feel confident that I’m protected throughout the day and night no matter what I choose to do. That’s why I picked up a package of TENA intimates® Overnight Pads at W almart when I was there last.  It’s just so convenient to be able to get everything all at once from groceries to my husband’s prescriptions to a new pair of sandals.

  1. I agree with you Ellen about having a good routine in the evening when going to bed. Relaxing is just what the body needs to do, but like you mentioned the brain sometimes just not corroborate with the plan. My body aches at night sometimes too from the years I worked at Swiss Colony hauling really heavy hand jacks around most of the day. That work I did is really catching up to me now in my golden years.
